Talk about scarcity -- a "one hour only" sale...
A local furniture store is having a "blowout" sale tomorrow -- like 50% to 80% off -- for one hour only. Of course, my girlfriend wants to go and check out dining-room sets... :rolleyes:
Seriously, have you ever seen scarcity used to this extreme? I can see tons of people coming in a few minutes after the hour is up and getting pissed off that they won't get the sale price.
I'm envisioning Times Square on New Year's Eve pandemonium. I will be fearing for my life between 7pm and 8pm tomorrow.
