How To Write For The Spiritual Niche

Hi all

Just wanting to see if anyone has any ideas on writing for the spiritual/meditation niche.

Im about to try my hand at a competition in this area selling a $12 audio with a bonus audio on the intake of prana energy via water. I have a few ideas rumbling around in my brain, but thought i'd ask what you guys think.

How would you tackle something like this?

I'd contact Jonathan 2.0 and ask him for some friendly advice Andrei...

And reciprocate his help with an offer of my own to help him in return if he needed it at any time.

    Kindest regards,

I think you do exactly what you'd do for any market. Find out what these people need and want and then give it to them at a price they're willing to pay.

Before writing for any market it's wise to understand who your customers are. Who buys prana energy water? There must be forums where this is discussed. Visit them and see what's happening. Another thing you should check out is your competition. It shouldn't bee too hard to figure out who has if figured out. You might then try a little of what's working for them.

Spiritual and meditation isn't exactly a niche. It's a major market with a lot of well known players. It may take a while to get a foothold. There are lots of gurus out there big and small. You need to somehow position yourself as someone who knows what you're talking about. That's not impossible but it might take a little time. Good luck.

since everybody is basically going to do the above, I would suggest a totally different tack.

The reader want the same thing than in any other niche: FEEL GOOD.

When I write for this kind of prospect, I take a walk in the woods while doing some deep breathing. then I go back to the PC and just let INSPIRATION do its thing... and usually it is what was needed. (no joke)

If that doesn't work I just take some stuff form Esther Hicks and put it in my own words. Works everytime....

        1) how much my life sucked
        2) serendipity happens
        3) light at the end of the tunnel
        4) i'm a super-hero now
        5) don't give up, be a believer

        seb

ps. No Enemies, No friends, Just teachers. Know what i mean?

Writing for Spiritual minded people, will know if what you are saying is meanful. To prepare yourself start with your Belief. There are many different groups and forums that believe in certain 'Divine' you can counter with a different belief or you can extend on their posting.
Before writing articles why not try to post your ideas and beliefs that will help you build a strong foundation for what you do believe. Which you can be passionate about!
I am not referring to Religion or any certain Church, we all have Spirit. When you work on those beliefs the Holy Spirit will inspire you. Try it, would for sure build character which distinguishes an individual or quality they have to offer. VALUE

For a spiritually minded audience, tone is really important.

I am not sure what exactly it is you're selling, but I believe if you were to use a lot of aggressive, edgy language and street slang in your pitch, it probably wouldn't go over very well.

Instead, you need to come across as calm, centered, smooth and believable.

        Thanks Mark.

Its not that Prana water though. Its a way of infusing the water with prana via meditation and some crazy ass breathing techniques.

Sounds like you should read Masaru Emoto's books (how the mind changes the molecular structure and energetic vibration of water.)

In my experience, people who meditate have big egos about it.

          Being spiritual IS their identity.

So you've really got to establish HOW you're the authority.

          There's your hook.

Now all you need is a simple "How To" headline. Don't even bother writing body copy. Just a headline and a buy button...

"How To Achieve Lasting Peace Of Mind
          Using Simple Ass-Breathing Techniques"

          LOL

      Thanks for that.

These individuals im writing for are a very very small micro niche. Most of them know what we are selling, most are aware of previous courses, audios etc.

It is a unique program to say the least. In fact most of what is being sold be the organization is the only stuff of its kind out there...

Hah, i'm getting inspiration as I write this. Thanks.

Same as any other niche, you have to think in their best interest and help them with their problems. If you do that, you'll never run out of ideas to write about.
      Wow! Ok then. Thanks.

It was "Crazy Ass" as in "AWESOME-Crazy!" you know, 'thats crazy as bro!'. Not as in "Koo KOO, call the nurse crazy". Please dont assume, you know what they say about assuming right?

As I tell most clients and I work in lot of markets. PEOPLE are people at the end of they day. Yet there are markets where people speak a specific lingo ( for instance spirituality, trading etc ) and you do need to know that to be able to appeal to their specific fears, selfish needs etc.. otherwise they will know that you have no clue and your sales pitch will be weak

    Hi,
I think you should build a list of leads interested within your niche, and offer them a hypnosis session (can be found on many PLR sites), or offer them a newsletter with that spiritual niche, and after the 3rd or 4th autoresponder message, you can start offering your product. Not instantly!
