PS: I was doing a little copywriting coaching this morning, and the person I was coaching needed a bit of jump start.

When he saw this, he got all excited. I thought you would too.

Again, Rick comes through with the research gold. What are the rest of you doing, playing Warcraft or Diablo?

Thanks again to you, WF's hippie surfer dude.

    All love and respect,

    Doc

      I hope you're joking, Ronak.

Right there on page one, are the Cosmo headlines we were orgasmic over a couple of months back.

Oh then lookie what we have in the #9 position! 127 Eugene Schwartz headlines somebody, bless their soul, scanned in.

Damn, and then somebody did it again with John Carlton headlines in position #7.

And that's just on the first page! Imagine if somebody did a bit of work and hit the "next" button.

      - Rick Duris

PS: Hint: Somebody did it with Gary Halbert headlines. But I'm not gonna tell you where it is.

Rick, it's like you're inviting me to pore over all your past WF posts in hopes of uncovering all the best copywriting secrets. Thankfully, I have an aversion to being that big of a stalker.

But seriously, this is twice in a week I've felt compelled to thank you for providing such helpful information. You da man!

    Hi Rick,

I clicked on the link in your first post and got a Google Search page. I tried copy and paste and got the same result.

Do you have any idea why that happens?

I am a Brit visiting the Philippines so it could be an IP problem.

Any help would be appreciated as I also believe headlines are very important.

    Thank You.

It is a Google search results page, and the idea is to look at the links on it. There are many kinds of results (as PDF files), including headline swipe files, but you'll need to look at the links.

    • Dammit,

I can't get the "link" to work.

      All I get is google.

Could it be a UK thing?

Surely it's not a MacBook problem because they always do what you want don't they?

        • But when I was forced to stop using my trusted Olivetti.

I was told copywriters had to use Macs.

Because they make your copy so perfect (and state of the art).

I do miss the quill and parchment though - you always got a brilliant response when the scrolls with the red seals popped through the letterboxes.

Awesome, I cant believe someone would make a negative comment about this slick search that delivers probably $1,000's of dollars of content. Heck I could probably make a $197 product with page 1 and 2 and make a killing. I might get sued but hell business is always risky right?? :-)
