Hey Warriors!

I've realised that 'An intelligent person hires people who are more intelligent than he is' so when it comes to copy I think it's best that I leave it up to the professionals.

Saying that, does anybody know who or where i can source a solid copywriter? or things to look/ask for when selecting the right person for the job?

The site is already built and the traffic is there. Just need to get some copy!

Thanks in advance warriors

Ash

I would call that a very wise decision because attempting to write your sales copy often does more harm than good. I get my sales copies written by a copywriter who hasn't got as much experience as the big players here, but writes brilliant copies for the price he charges. If you would like to try him, PM me your email id and I'll direct you to him.

    All the best!

  • Ash- a lot depends on your budget and timetable. You'll find several copywriters for hire on the Warriors for Hire forum. A few offer special deals in the WSO section. Others may contact you from this forum.

Fees range considerably. Many copywriters are booked far in advance as well.

Whoever you select will want to know lot of details about your project. Here is a good example of someone who knows their audience, their available budget, etc.

Knowing all this going in will help you find the best writer for you, and helps copywriters avoid pursuing projects that don't fit their expertise or fee requirements.

Well, I should've figured out that we both can't PM yet!

Okay, send me an email stating your current budget and details regarding your niche, at content.in.n.out[at]gmail[dot]com. I will forward your email to my copywriter.

Hopefully he is not booked up at the moment. Nevertheless, you will get a reply from him.

I'm probably out of your budget range, but I can recommend someone for you if you let me know what niche you're in.

There is only one thing to look for in a copywriter.

    It is not experience.

It is not the amount of time they put into the project.

Or how well they understand your product.

    Or how much they charge.

The only thing that matters is how well their copy converts for your product. So that should be the focus of your attention.

Reputation has some bearing on this, but only to the degree that the reputation is built on a consistent record of sales. And even then, you will not know whether the copy will convert with your product until you test it.
