The power of using a product walk-through/demo in a sales video
I am around 3 weeks off relaunching a book I have published (released 2 years ago) into a monthly membership website.
I am putting the final touches on the programs sales VIDEO (decided to not use long form sales letter) and was wondering if you think it's a good idea to include a video walk-through/demo of the membership site (using Camtasia screen capture software) as part of the sales video to give the potential customers a feel for the program before making a purchase.
I can't say I have seen many marketers take that approach and was wondering if there was a reason for why many have chosen not too?
Do you feel that it gives away too much information and perhaps reduces the prospects intrigue about the program?
Or do you see it as being beneficial within a sales video, as a way of displaying social proof and content quality?
Your opinion is greatly appreciated.
