is it okay to create two sales pages and sell the same product but target different customers?

    I don't see why not, as it makes lots of sense to craft messages that target consumers differently.

      Not only is it preferred, it's the best way to do it.

      If you try to be all things to everyone, you'll be nothing to nobody.

      Heck, even billion dollar companies like proctor and gamble use different campaigns and pitches to different markets.. using pretty much the same damn soap powder or detergent.

      They own about 5 brands of soap/detergent... and tests show its pretty much the same product. But they use different marketing because they are trying to reach different segments.

      I used to do this with my fitness business.

      I used to sell the same program to everyone, and it did okay.

      But when I separated the markets into men and women... and talked to them individually... sales took off.

      Because men and women have different mindsets, needs, dominant emotions.

      With men, it was all about working out to get the chicks and impress their buddies. It was all about strength and power, feeling proud and confident.

      For women, it was about feeling better, looking better in their jeans and fitting back into their old clothes. It was about getting their man to look at them again. It was about feeling sexy and attractive, or turning heads in a bikini, etc)

      But I sold the same exact program, just used 2 different pitches that covered the selling points for each market.

      Mike Geary does 11 million dollars a year with truth about abs... and if you look at his page, it's split into men and women.

      So yes, by all means, every market should have its own unique "pitch"

    It depends upon the diversity of your product or service.

    There are products that can be branded and packaged to suit a whole host of different markets.

    Likewise...

    You can also water down your brand by trying to present your product or service as something it's really isn't.

    Personally speaking...

    I wouldn't try to create more websites until you've fully resonated your voice with the audience you're most passionate about helping.

    Beyond that...

    By all means...

    Play with different messages and audiences.

    all this is summed up in one word... TESTING

    test different elements of your copy to different audience....

    and with your opt-ins&/ sales, you determine which copy works best.
