How to be a leader...PLUS some copywriting/ad/marketing advice

Found this vid. Should teach you something about consumers, how you should position yourself, and some other tidbits. I enjoyed it, and it changed the way I see my business.

Well, actually that's a lie - it reinforced how I see my business - as not a way to make money, but as a way to help others achieve their dreams. My purpose in life is to help others (cheesy, but true - my plan is to get rich, and then spend the later years of my life travelling, and helping those less fortunate than myself - in Africa, South America, and even here in the MEDCs like the UK and US)

Anyway, enough rambling - check this out

Enjoy.

    It's not cheesy. It's admirable.

Good video... a very important lesson in there for marketers... selling (Sinek calls it leading) to those who share your belief.

Reminds me a lot of Seth Goden's "tribe" idea.

You want to be like Bill Gates, I suppose.

"It's important to attract those who believe what you believe."

I agree with most of what he said, but there's a stark truth that's just laying in the corner which is not mentioned. He mentions that the tipping point is 15-18% market penetration - consisting mainly of the early adopters - the risk takers who will buy the $40,000 substandard flat screen.

When that critical point is reached, the late adopters follow what the early adopters believe.

    That's the tipping point.

"People don't buy what you do, people buy why you do it."
"What you do proves what you believe."
