Find the Best Sales Letters Of the Last 2 Years
Hey there W. Forumers,
Now, I don't often like asking for advice on this forum because I've noticed everyone and their dog seems to give advice here...some good and some not so good.
But sometimes some great people pipe up and share solid nuggets of wisdom.
So here's the story...
I've got this client who does a lot of online affiliate sales in a particular market. I've helped boost their conversions on some new products considerably.
But then out of no where, my client speaks up and says "I want you to find me the top controls in this industry for the last 2-3 years so we can develop an offer based on those controls"
Now, I told him it's a great idea but swiping from competitors doesn't mean he's going to make more sales. Just more "market incest". He needed to do research from scratch to develop a truly powerful offer.
Here's my question: his request really got me thinking..."How do I hunt down the top most recent controls online in his industry for the last 2-3 years?"
I know how to search popular products on clickbank, amazon, and youtube...
But I'm willing to openly admit this: I only study the classics of direct mail. I don't follow online stuff as much as I should (I have my reasons).
It's time though. I need to repent of my techno phobia and become a progressive individual.
What are your best methods, tools, resources for nailing down top online controls? And how do you determine they are the top controls for the last 2-3 years (or whatever number you choose)
Price is of no concern to me. I'm willing to invest any amount to ge the best tools possible. Just toss em my way.
PS - Please be sensitive to my lack of techno abilities. I'm just one of those paper and pen kinda guys (did you hear that John Carlton? You're not the only one)
