Who Are Some Copywriters on WF that I Can Learn From?

I'm not looking to start a battle of egos here, just looking for some *competent* copywriters who I can model.

I am comparing many different styles of writing on WF and used the search bar to search "who are the best copywriters on WF" but there is not one thread on this topic.

Would you guys have an issue dropping some names?

Thanks - Red

    Read everything I've ever written...

    and then do the opposite.

    Hi Red,

For what it's worth (and IMHO) the style of copywriting will change dramatically depending on the culture, audience, product and seller.

There are loads of great copywriters on the WF who can craft a fantastic WSO sales letter, but who *may* be useless at selling a new pharmaceutical drug to the National Health Service here in the UK [yes extreme example I know].

The question is, what type of copy are you hoping to emulate I guess.

...I deleted the post because the OP even though he got the full definitive list of every top copywriter on the forum, including links to all of their various websites he couldn't even say thank you for the time expended putting the long list of names together.

Cheers for letting me know about Tim though.

        Hope you're well Bruce.

Top of the day to you,

Here's a true story. One day I was walking out of the mall and heard a lady walking behind me. I was getting close to the door so obviously I held it open for her.

As she walked through she didn't even mutter a "thank you" to me. So did I LET GO OF THE DOOR and allow it to SLAM HER in the back? No, absolutely not. I'd feel like an asshole if I did that. Moreso, what if that persons dog just died yesterday? I open doors for people NOT for a "thank you", its unconditional.. BECAUSE its the type of PERSON I AM.

I also try to help many people on this forum (as in "I try", I'm not perfect but I STILL TRY) and guess what? Not one time have I ever complained about someone NOT thanking me. Imagine if I went around WF telling people "I will only help you for a thanks". Wouldn't people tend to frown upon that?

So thanks Mark. I appreciate the fact you couldn't wait more than a few hours for me to come back to the thread and say thanks.

Most importantly. Just because you took the link away I'm STILL going to say "thanks". Thanks for STILL taking your time to help someone, especially me of all people. I know that took A LOT of effort on your part to do.

        So THANK YOU.

Just please, next time you post a link, do me a favor and put a timer by it so I know when my "help" expires.

I highly recommend you follow Rayday (Ray Edwards).

He has very helpful posts on copywriting. He has some excellent copywriting videos on Youtube.

Plus, his email course is excellent.

For those who missed Mark's post, he linked to the Copywriter Directory. From there (and one not mentioned that I saw in my initial scroll-through), I'd recommend these two:

Brian McLeod for great insights into the mind of customers.

Colin Theriot for the same reason, really seems to get people.

Edit: This is the thread Mark linked too. Similar but not the same lol.

Haha! Nice job Red... and if you don't thank me for saying so I'm NEVER coming to this forum again!

In any case, Mark's list was flawed because I was on it and I suck.

      I disagree.

I wasn't on it, so it must be good.
