If I were you, I'd either...

    1. Post your question on the right forum, or
    2. Ask John C.

On second thought, how 'bout if you do both? LOL

This is probably going to get me eaten alive and harsly criticized here, but honestly, I think outsourcing product creation probably isn't a good idea in the first place.

I mean, yes, you can outsource PARTS of your product, but outsourcing the whole thing is just asking for a dispassionate effort that won't connect or build "mind share" for your product over the long term.

    Think about it.

What's the number one thing that your customers associate with YOU, personally?

What do they think of as YOUR business?

It's the products and services you sell.

So if you're outsourcing product creation (like ebooks for example) to anyone who's charging an affordable rate, you're probably just going to end up getting a sub-standard product that attracts lousy reviews and few interested prospects.

There IS a way around this though.

And that is to hire a GENUINE expert in your subject area to write a FULL LENGTH book for you, and pay them at least 5000-10000 dollars for it.

But you need to actually be a pro at marketing to recover your investment on that and make it work.

Maybe a better idea is to get an expert to work with you on a JV, and give them credit as the author...

^Of course, if Hunk is an expert in whatever niche he is in, he could outsource the writing work (with a detailed description regarding what he's expected the ebook writer to produce) and then gauge and touch-up the finished product himself. It's not like he isn't going to proofread the finished ebook before he sells it to his audience. Quality products can be ghostwritten so long as the expert is ensuring that the finished product remains useful to the consumer.

Whoa! Double negative. Let me rephrase: It's not like he's going to avoid proofreading the finished ebook...
