Who Are The TOP Clickbank Copywriters?

Hi,

I am thinking of launching an seo or weight loss product on clickbank.

Who are the top clickbank copywriters?

Where can I find their contact information?

I've already checked this:

http://www.warriorforum.com/copywrit...directory.html

The only clickbank copywriter on there is Kevin Rogers.

Thanks

    Hi Rich,

    That's a good question.

There are a number of copywriters who have written a top ClickBank hit who don't specialize in just writing ClickBank sales copy. Sometimes the copywriter had to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) which prevents them from publicizing the big hit.

Case in point, one of my clients has enjoyed being #1 in their ClickBank niche (non-IM niche) that I wrote more than 3 years ago. Due to signing a NDA, I can not publicly reveal the niche or the website's name.

Not every top copywriter writes for both SEO and weight loss. There's also subniches for SEO and weight loss too.

Plan on spending 4-5 figures to hire a proven ClickBank copywriter as well. They have a strong enough track record that they can command whatever fees they quote. Also plan on waiting for them to start your project. It might be weeks or months until they can do so because they are already booked.

Here's some possible options for you off the top of my head...

Kevin Rogers is a solid choice, although I don't know if he writes weight loss or not.

Vin Montello has a strong track record and his name gets mentioned in WF alot.

Mike Williams wrote Commission Crusher's salesletter last year. I don't know if he writes weight loss niche or not.

Matt O'Connor and Rick Duris are also worth talking to as well.

    Hope that helps,

    Mike

As far as I know, Montello is the best with weight loss. Mike Williams is the best with traffic generation/SEO copy. He was Bill McRea's copywriter on several projects and I've hired him before too on 2 projects. Both cost an awfully alot of $ to hire. If money is an issue, Montello has students who will do it for less, but still not cheap. I've hired one of his students before for a critique and to pound out bullets for me and it was well worth it.

Lemme tell you a story about CB...

First off, CB is just a payment processor as far as I'm concerned. Good copy is good copy regardless if it's on CB, OneShoppingCart, or Paypal.

That being said, for some reason people think that to be on CB you need to have the hypiest, over the top bs copy to get any results.

    NOT TRUE.

    Here's why...

We did a CB launch about a year ago, and for ****s and giggles we hired one of the people mentioned on this thread. He wrote some good copy, then we had it funkyfied by a graphics guy who made all that multi-colored, sub-head crap. So it looked totally CB.

Then, I wrote my own version using minimal graphics, a plain white template, and just black text. Nothing fancy pants at all.

    The split test result...

My version out pulled by one full percentage point.

Lesson... good copy is good copy. You don't need to put lipstick on a pig if you have a killer offer and good copy.

Now, it does happen I just wrote what I believe is a fricken killer weight loss letter for someone else. The deal went south let's just say, so I'm keeping the letter. With a few mods, I can tailor it to any weight loss product. If you're interested, pm me.

    Take care,

      Take care,
I completely agree. It's the same with
      writing WSO copy.

I can't stand the fancy graphics... I know, I know it looks great
but, it's been proven many times.

      Happy Thanksgiving,

I would say George Brown. He is the top clickbank seller. He is number 1 for three weeks now. I have read his copy and bought his products. I think he is really good.

George doesn't write his own copy, Eugene. I think for his first several projects he used David Raybould (a student of Vin's, then Carlton's), but have no idea if they still work together or not.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I hate the
term "ClickBank copywriter" because it makes
    no sense at all.

I've written many #1 "Clickbank" copy in my 10
years on writing online copy but would never
    term myself a "Clickbank copywriter."

To each his own, but I hate the term.

There are so many different types of products
and services sold in the ClickBank marketplace
so I cannot see what unique features would separate
    "ClickBank copy" from any other.
