    Some of these I like, but a few just seem... too "clever"? I feel the copywriters are so caught up in being cute that they forget about the product itself. Looks like I'm not alone either.

    In the comments:

    "I love, love, love Modcloth and am constantly on their site. However, I often find their copy to be a turn off. Way, way too many puns...it is honestly almost nauseating sometimes...This aspect of their copy pushes me away..."

    "As for ModCloth and too many puns, IMHO as with many things in life, a little spice is nice, but it's easy to overdo a good thing."

    Nice find though. The GymIt one I thought was creative but still spoke to their target market. Seriously, if you aren't something of a gym rat, you have no idea how good "fresh gym smell" is.
