When Does White Space Really Work?
I noticed an ad today in a national magazine (the cost of a ½ page is $6500) and in the center of the ad space is a few words:
The One Business That Will Make
You Stop Looking For A Business To Start
Low Investment Required - $25,000
Call XXX-XXX-XXXX
It did catch my eye because of all the white space, and it does pique my interest as to what type of business it is, but what I don't want is 100s of calls from tire kickers - or am I missing the point?
Shouldn't a display ad give a general sense of what the business is before a call to action?
Thanks in advance for your insights.
