I have a bunch of products for sale that I wrote the product and copy. Starting in 2013, I'll be producing several products using experts. For example, I'll have a "golf for beginners" product featuring a local golf pro giving basic golf lessons on video. Then I'll just write the copy.

Do any copywriters or marketers sell any books or products that outline how to set this up? How to work out the financial arrangement? Yes, I can write up a simple contract, but my guess is there is some kind of product out there that can shorten my learning curve, possibly with fee agreements, etc. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hey Joe, are you gonna be the product owner, or are you partnering? Are you just doing the copy or are you gonna take care of traffic too?

If it is all you, I would pay a flat fee...

A few years ago I bought some new clubs and the guy that sold me was awesome. He took me into the simulator and fixed my slice in just a few minutes.

I was so impressed I offered him 5k to come make some videos with me. He wanted to accept but he was under contract with his company and this would have been a breach.

Too bad, would have been a great deal. So again if you have control that way is the easiest.

  • Hi Don, I'll be the product owner and take care of copy and traffic. Thanks for the info. I'm getting a lot of feedback which is helping out.

One of the reasons I started this thread is a guy in the offline forum made 372K with some software he created with a programmer. But they had no agreement and it went south. Yikes.

Just trying to get all my ducks in a row before approaching experts or programmers.
