Tips for copywriting websites?

Hello everybody. I'm a newbie, but I have been looking into copywriting game for a while now.I've always enjoyed writing, even though English isn't my first language. Right now, I need some start up cash for a few other projects. I was wondering if there was any kind of website where I could earn a bit of cash without having to build up a reputation first. Of course, I am prepared to put in the work (not looking for a get-rich-quick plan here), but I don't see myself in copywriting in the long run.

Please note that I am from Europe, so sites which require an American citizenship won't work out for me.

Any kind of help or tips are very welcome, thank you in advance.

I don't fancy your chances of getting much work without proof that your copy will convert...as that is the main reason for copy.

The best I could suggest as far as writing goes would be to try writing some articles and sell them off as PLR.

If you're looking for quick cash and don't see yourself copywriting in the long run, I'd suggest making use of other talents you have. Are you good at organizing/doing? If so, you could become a virtual assistant.

If you can't give proof of results there's not much chance of people hiring you, unless you set up a webpage where you educate them on copywriting themselves a little bit, prove your knowledge, that you're competent in the methodology; basically you need a way to build trust with potential clients and communicate to them your competence as a copywriter, otherwise your chances of finding work are slim to none.

If you're interested in borrowing cash (be careful,) instead of spending time copywriting you could try peer to peer lending. Just google it.

  • To be honest with you, majority of the marketers here on this forum are newbies just like you are. Most of them either don't a lot of cash or they are like many people who start out in business and are afraid to invest a lot of money into their business.

What that means is if you make a very, very cheap offer, somebody on this forum will give you a shot, especially anything written.

Most people would rather pay someone else to write whatever it is they need written. If you have at least the bare minimum skill...at the right low price, someone will take you up on your offer.
