Creating Killer Hooks In Your Sales Copy

Yep John Carlton at his best diving head first into muscle salesmanship
and displaying 6 of his monster golf ads plus a bonus one too.

Enjoy!
Ewen

P.S. Thought I may as well add 3 more examples
of his ads and him talking about "gun to head" get er done writing.

He's talking to Perry Marshall about it.

Enjoy!

  • ...great ewen, I've just spent a very enjoyable hour listening to it, when I've got a deadline to meet (so I'm pm'ing you the copy to finish). What's that you say? You're too busy digging up more good stuff to watch? Ok, I'll write it then...

    Anyway.

I remember listening to Carltons first ever "talk" at a Dan Kennedy seminar (about 15 years ago) on hooks. I then changed an Ad I was running in the press and the response literally quadrupled. And it's still doing extremely well to this day...and tomorrow...and the next day...

This Jim Edwards webinar is an expanded version on John's hooks.

    Seriously, it's a must watch.

Just tell your client you've found a "new" way to add 25% more response
and had to do more research to nail it.

      Sound good?

      Best,
      Ewen

  • ...Yes, and it would be true.

I've just improved one of the the hooks I was going to use (based on something Carlton said in the webinar that I've never heard on any of his courses...).

Thanks for the share. Great content.

If you're on Perry Marshall's list you might remember the 2 hour John Carlton Seminar on Storytelling he shared sometime earlier this year.

  • ...it may be on his site, but I couldn't see it, would be great to have the link for the storytelling seminar.

  • Andrew,

As they say in the UK - shot and a half! - thanks so much.

    P.S. We have a David Ogilvy thread - http://www.warriorforum.com/copywrit...id-ogilvy.html

We may as well make this one a John Carlton thread (we might need Ewen to change the title - although if it's got "one legged" in it - we kind of know Carlton is involved - but the new writers may not be aware of that headline).
