Copywriters - what is your ultimate niche?

To provide solutions for?

I know what mine is.

And I need your help. Because...

...between each of you, you've got contacts over a very wide spectrum of business industries between you.

"No fcuking pirate gets on my ship."

Simple as. Indisputable.

My dream copywriting / business niche is providing solutions for the shipping piracy problem.

Every Englishman's home is his castle. You better start believing it.

Allow me to repeat this...

No fcuking pirate, guaranteed...

...gets on a ship I'm looking after
.

I need contacts in the industry.

I have solutions.

I'm prepared to back them up. My ideas.

Smoking hot,

Mark Andrews

P.S. What is your ultimate business niche?..

Less about the niche, more about the set up.

By set up, I mean the person has a great product...

      in a strong demand area...

      is scalable ready...

owner understands and values measurable direct response marketing...

I like working with the person...

wants me to be the guy to run the marketing...

      happy to pay performance incentives.

Got 2 of them in the early stages.

2 others are wanting in later down the track.

They are in stock trading training, seo to brick and mortar businesses,
PPC training and Forex broker rebates.

All made the initial approach to me.

      Best,
      Ewen

  • ...I'm just not altogether sure if there is all that much piracy and plundering on the Cornish waters off Southwest England.

But I did once see a tourist jump the queue to hire a dingy for an hour in Falmouth.

Alright, I know it's a huge and dangerous problem in Somalia - one thing is for sure...

Mark, it's unlikely you'll be swimming with competition - it's certainly an interesting niche.

Don't let anyone steal your idea.

P.S. Just promise they're won't be a graphic of you looking like Captain Pugwash, with a parrot on your shoulder squawking "Smoking hot, pieces of eight, pieces of eight..."

here's something very interesting about piracy - and Mark, I know this one will surprise you - a bunch of my ancestors on my father's side of the family used to be pirates!

I'm not sure how many generations back we are talking about - but I distinctly remember being totally shocked when my uncle told me - he had been spent months digging around our family tree...

They apparently used to hijack ships in the Arabian sea, while on my mother's side we had Royal Courtiers who were thrown out of court for refusing to side with the British during their occupation of India.

Unfortunately, none of our lives are quite as exciting!

  • ...Arfa, you just must find a way of using this in your own marketing.

It's the ultimate "Hook" (yes I know it's a pirate gag).

Maybe something like - "well my ancestors were arabian pirates but fear not I'll protect you from the scurvy competition..."

Lol, never thought to use that, but I have to be honest, the whole idea that I had ancestors who looted ships is well, quite shocking and I'm not sure I can sit comfortably knowing they did this and me profiting from it...

      but hmmm...food for thought!

    I agree with Ewen.

It has less to do with the niche/market and way more to do with the product quality, market thirst/receptivity... and I'd also add the passion of the business owner.

I've succeeded in niches I had less than zero awareness about.

    For me...

When there's a solid collaboration between myself and the owner, I can tackle just about any market - with gusto.

I also appreciate working with entrepreneurs consciously into their own self growth.

I'm not into following a formula the business owner created with previous copywriters.

I want him or her to feel excited about manifesting a more fulfilling, financially prosperous end result - based on shattering old beliefs and misconceptions.

    Again...

    For me...

This isn't about connecting the dots...

...it's about harnessing the passion to help prospects and use the desire to make a REAL impact in their lives as the added magic behind communicating the reality-changing-benefits.

Another thread I can't remember for the life of me posting up last night.

It's amazing how just two bottles of wine can change your senses so lol.

I have a product I'd like to put into development, it's called - The Grim Reaper.

Pissed as a fart last night or not (hey it was my birthday), I still 100% believe in this idea. It's an idea I've been playing around with in my mind for at least the last 3 years.

For relatively low cost I believe it could easily be a very effective solution to help combat the problem of shipping piracy which costs the industry an absolute fortune. And I dare any pirate to try and get aboard 'this ship' with this security system in place.

I take it nobody here has any contacts in the shipping industry or a contact I could talk to, to perhaps open up a few doors? I'm serious.

I'd love to have a conversation with a few people to implement this idea into a plan of action.

      Smoking hot,

Personally as a copywriter my biggest strength is in writing copy for
information products especially information products related to marketing
    in some way.

I'm also very good at looking at the whole sales process an information
marketer is using and helping them dramatically increase the profits
they're making by improving that process.

Offhand I don't know anyone who has a shipping piracy problem but I'll
    keep it in mind.

    Kindest regards,

Lovely to see you again Andrew. Long time no see.

      How have you been?

Everything good in your part of the world?

      Business looking good?

Great to see you once more - please do post more often!

      Kindest regards,

      Mark Andrews

P.S. I'm looking out across the bay right now and there's
seven big ships out there. Either in for bunkers or waiting
      for fresh orders. Good reminder!

Seems to me you could walk onto the dock with an eye patch
and a bandana and ask to see the captain while saying "aaaaar"
        a lot.

Then you could pitch your message and your service.

Modern security might make that difficult but you never know.

        Kindest regards,
        Andrew Cavanagh
