Killer Makes Bread (Damaging Admission Inside)

I was browsing Reddit this morning and came across this
picture of a loaf of bread...

A Loaf Of Bread

Only... it's not any ordinary bread.

It's made by a former convict. A self-proclaimed drug dealer...
cop beater... and all around bad guy.

A damning fact that might not make you root for the guy,
or buy his bread.

But... he's not hiding this fact.

He's owning it... and he's owning his road to redemption.

Check out this video for a good example of making a "Damaging Admission"...
and spinning this admission to sell an ordinary product like bread...

  • Cool. Reminds me somewhat of Homeboy Industries. They are former gang members who make pretty good baked goods you can buy in the store. They even have their own cafes now.

"Homeboy Industries is a youth program founded in 1992[1] by Father Greg Boyle, S.J. following the work of the Christian base communities at Dolores Mission Church. The program is intended to assist high-risk youth, former gang members and the recently incarcerated with a variety of free programs, such as mental health counseling, legal services, tattoo removal, curriculum and education classes, work-readiness training, and employment services.

The most distinctive feature of Homeboy Industries[2] is its social enterprises/small businesses, which gives hard-to-place individuals an opportunity for employment in transitional jobs in a safe, supportive environment where they can learn both concrete and soft job skills. Among the businesses[3] are the Homeboy Bakery, Homegirl Café [4] & Catering, Homeboy/Girl Merchandise, Homeboy Farmers Markets, The Homeboy Diner at City Hall,[5] Homeboy Silkscreen & Embroidery, Homeboy Grocery and the soon-to-open Homeboy Cafe & Bakery in the American Airlines terminal at Los Angeles International Airport."

I wonder if a certain percentage of every loaf comes with a surprise shank baked into it.
