Credibility in Copywriting

Hello,

I have a problem that I was hoping you guys and gals could help brainstorm with me.

I have a health and fitness product that I sell through clickbank.

It's a muscle building type e-book.

The problem is that I only have one before and after picture... Myself.

It seems that all of the successful fitness programs have at least a handful of before and after pics of people who have successfully gone through their program.

I am currently working with some personal coaching clients to fix this issue but it takes quite a bit of time to get a decent after pic (at least 6 months and that's assuming that they all actually complete the program).

So what should I do in the meantime?

Is there a way to build in credibility without the pictures or am I just dead in the water until I can successfully obtain said pictures.

    There are some top fitness copywriters here who will point you in the right direction. I would go with what you have for now and get it launched. Add more testimonials as you get them. Money loves speed and all that.

      If you don't have any testimonials, then there are a few things you could try -

      - borrowed credibility - perhaps someone famous has used similar techniques to hone their body to perfection? If so you would mention them and say that your method is based on the same methods that X Celebrity uses to chisel and sculpt their body.

      - get an endorsement from a prominent person in your field - a Dr, body builder, fitness model, sports coach, celebrity

      - show your own credibility - are you a coach, certified fitness professional, sports star etc - in other words, what's your track record and what makes you qualified to bring the product to the audience?
