An Ode to NLP and Copywriting
It was the day before new year,
Or was it new year's eve?
The clock struck two forty-five,
Or was it quarter to three?
There was something lurking around the corner,
Something I could not see.
Was it copywriting?
Or was it NLP?
Some says there's no difference,
They both do but persuade.
No! NLP is useless junk,
Say the copywriting brigade.
Me? I don't give a monkey's nuts,
For I see the good in both.
They both do much within people,
With patterns and words to emote.
"Bah, humbug," I say,
Nuts to the lot of ya.
Just do your own thing, as long as it works,
Enough with your blah, blah, blah.
