Yes, if there's any subject that would allow me the passion to inspire action through words, it would be gourmet cheese.

"This blueberry-infused montery jack has a musky tang reminiscent of a men's locker room - salty and sweet, with just a hint of cringe-inducing mildew aftertaste that'll leave your taste buds ringing like a steak knife on a pfaltzgraff plate."

Oh yea, that's right. I don't like cheese. Nevermind.

The beauty of the Internet is that you can make it in any niche, because there is 7 billion people on the planet, and there is no longer any distance between us, so the people you're looking for to connect with who share your passions, interests, and the things you love are just as available to you whether they're in the United States, the Netherlands, or South Korea; there are literally hundreds of thousands of potential customers that can last you a lifetime no matter what niche you are going into, and the great thing about some of the less known niches like cheeses that you can easily obtain SEO and Google rankings for them that no one else has gone after.

Let me use my mouse and take a nibble at this.

I think with a little more input your "could you cut the cheese" comment would have a lot more gas.

            From the article:

Behind the counter at your neighborhood shop you're highly likely to encounter dancers, musicians, poets and journalists who happen to have a fixation on fermented dairy products.
For some reason, I get the feeling that this might be a running gag some day.

"Hey Mara, I hear yer kid wants to be a poet."

"Uh-huh but give it a few years and she'll be opening up a cheese shop in New York."

            P.S.

As to the actual question, I would think I have what it takes. I might need a few samples though (and perhaps a stronger stomach ).

Safeway, King Soopers and other big name grocery stores have very valuable, expensive real estate , in the front of the stores, dedicated to gourmet cheeses. that is no accident.
the most valuable commodity in a grocery store is shelf space. they have whole sections dedicated to cheese ( and some other gourmet stuff to go with it ) , but it is all about CHEESE.

I live in France. Know how many cheeses are produced here? A lot *. But they don't have anything that comes close to this Sicilian delicacy -

    * just Googled it - there are about 400 different cheese varieties in France.

Tag line from a cheese store in my old neighborhood:

    Oh yeah.

"This exquisite aged provolone may smell like the dog threw up in the refrigerator...but it tastes so much better than it smells!"

On a similar and related note, even pizza restaurant reviewers can wax poetic:

Sure. Only you need to know what niche and what your customers like about cheese.

Toasted cheese wafts from the kitchen.

Sure why not. Every country has its cheese makers and there are lots of people who love cheese. I think it is a product that you would find in most refrigerators.

People love to have crackers and cheese as a snack and who doesn't love it on their Subway.
