You Don't Know Me From Adam But..

Hi

You don't know me from Adam but I have been lurking for a while, reading lots of stuff both here in the copywriting section and the offline section, and I just wanted to give a "shout out" to someone.

As a disinterested observer to date I have read lots of really useful stuff, heated debate about the merits (or otherwise) of NLP and other hot topics.

It seems to me that some members are more helpful than others and I suppose that is understandable.

But one guy whose contributions I always seek out is Steve the Copywriter.

They are always genuinely helpful, full of (un)common sense, and not self promotional.

So I just think his assistance, freely given, should be acknowledged.

Sebastian.

Steve wouldn't want me to reveal this, but I feel I must.

He also helps old ladies across the street. Must run in the family... he's Mother Teresa's favorite nephew.

On a serious note, yes, Steve selflessly and consistently offers high-quality information on this forum, and it's good to see him recognized for it.

  • Just to prevent any confusion - are you talking about me?

It's very kind of you if you are.

But don't forget many, many others including Alex, Angie and Pusateri always give out brilliant advice.

And of course everyone else who "thanks' Sebastian for writing what I feel is the best ever copywriting post.

      Steve,

      Yes, no confusion here.

And yes, Pusateri's erudite contributions haven't escaped my attention either-I have been reading a lot of what he has to say also.

I must check out Alex (Sir Alan Sugar?) and Angie too..

Thanks for the kind words, Sebastian.

My much better educated business partner is still fuming over one of our clients calling me a scholar several years ago. Erudite will bring me much fun, and probably as much bruising.

Her - "Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. We are not going to do it your wrong way, Mr. Wrong."

Me - "Speaking as an erudite scholar, I must say you are in nooooooooo position to question ANYTHING I say."

Haha Steve...I don't know if my rants and rock 'n' roll tangents qualify as brilliant, but I'll take the compliment. Thank you sir, and stay classy
