Critique existing website to improve sales

Hi, I know I am missing conversions and am looking for help.

Some background, I live in Myrtle Beach and 1st moved here in 1979, it was a quite resort town where everyone spoke with a southern accent and the red-lights turned to blinkers by November and did not start working again until May.

34 years later, we are well known providing vacations to over 14 Million people a year, who come to enjoy the beach, the 101 golf courses, 50 some miniature golf courses, live shows, comedy clubs, almost 2,000 places to eat, 2 Tanger Outlet Malls, 2 Huge shopping and entertainment complexes, hundreds of unique shops, zip-lines and more.

By the way, all the lights work on a year round basis and you will be hard pressed to find someone living here with a southern accent due to the influx of Northerners who have moved to the area over the last 15 years.

The area is so popular that the Chamber of Commerce in June, July and August last year had over 1 Million unique visitors a month to their site.

In January and February I averaged 3500 Unique Visitors to the MyrtleBeachPromotions.com site and sold 23 cards in January and 28 cards in February. We are doing well with organic searches and are listed quite high.

I sell a discount card and a portion goes to a non-profit that people can choose, the discounts offered are mostly buy one get one free or half price, there are over 230 businesses offering discounts and the restaurants are separated geographically by town.

There are a number of discount programs available to purchase, they all cost more and/or have less offerings than the Myrtle Beach Promotions Ultimate Discount Card.

The card is also better in that it is convenient and always with you, unlike a book that is bulky and left on the kitchen counter or drawer.

I think the conversion rate could be much higher, any and all input would be appreciated

    In a nutshell PIM marketing.

    Promotional Incentive Marketing.

    Offer a discount, in this case via a card system to entice more people into a particular business. 2 for 1 etc or 50% off the entrance fee.

    I used to do this myself back in 1992 for a company where I was the top salesman. Exactly the same concept to a tee.

    Okay, so I just checked it out, it's exactly the same as what we were doing back in the early nineties.

    In your case, your hook is weak and could be made a lot stronger. You need to get away from using the word 'cheap' as an enticement device and focus more on the value this discount card provides.

    Not just value but how this value directly translates into a more highly pleasurable and happy vacation for people on a budget vacation in Myrtle Beach.

    Overall the copy could do with creating more impact so it veritably sizzles with excitement. Make it an absolute no brainer for your potential prospects to get there hands on this.

    Site reminds me a lot like groupon travel promotions. Perhaps more imagery will increase conversions to the site purchases. I also find that the purchase button isn't in a very strategic location. I actually had to look for it (and finally found it at the bottom right) before I could find the pricing to the deal.
