How do you balance copywriting, prospecting and education?

I'm just curious, for those of you copywriters who are still having to prospect for clients, how do you balance finding clients, working on current projects, and also continuing to educate yourself by reading/researching copywriting materials?

What has worked best for you?

    Dayne, simple.

    1. Always prospect
    2. Always work
    3. Always study

I assign creative time, which for me is an hour after getting up in the morning, to do all of my writing. This is usually about 3 to 4 hours everyday.

I set aside time for research after my creative time about 1 to 2 hours. This allows my critical self to take over and shine.

Then in the evening I study on my favorite subject copywriting, or more research and/or setting up for the next day.

Like I am doing now. I am just taking a break seeing what is going on @WF. and reading secrets of a freelance writer by Bib Bly.
