To Kenneth Strong

When I was a police officer back in 1995... I felt a closer brotherhood to all my fellow police officers.

These days, as a copywriter and internet marketer... I feel a special bond and almost "brotherhood/sisterhood" with fellow copywriters and marketers.

I mean, let's not kid ourselves... often we live in our own little "online world" where many of the folks we interact with... we never meet.

Hell, 14 years later and my parents still have no idea what I do online.

But again, because each and every one of us on this board shares that common bond of trying to make a living online... I feel it personally when someone leaves us too soon.

I just heard Kenneth Strong lost his battle with cancer.

And even though I never met him personally, I still feel that bond, as a fellow copywriter and marketer.

When I heard of his passing, I immediately went over to my son and gave him a hug and then told my wife that I loved her.

Because you just never know, man... you just never know.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Kenneth's family. Anytime a loved one leaves us too soon, it's a tragedy.

News like this really puts things into perspective... and reminds me what's really important in life....
