Email Sequence Writing Software

Hey,
I'm looking for good software for writing an email launch sequence. I want to have a bird eye view of all the emails. As I see my sequences like a storyboard with open loops and certain information that intertwines.

I know Andre Chaperon has multiple notepads open up on a large 30" screen.

But I'm sure there's a better option in 2013 right?

Anyone have any ideas? Or does any one use any cool apps?

Thanks!

Have a look at Sublime Text 2, it lets you have multiple documents open next to each other:

Sublime Text: The text editor you'll fall in love with

It's the first text editor I've got on with well enough for it to replace Notepad.

  • september, is there any way you can slow down your posting frequency? it's hard to keep up with.

to answer your question, one option is Notepad++. It has tabs so it's really easy to jump between email 1, email 2, email 3 etc.

I just write them all in one document, and then cut and paste into my autoresponder.

Thanks guys. Will check these out. I've also checked out Scrivener, looks promising you can have different texts side by side on a cork board. It's for storyboarding and script writing. Tim Ferris used it to write the 4 hour chef. Looks pretty sweet.

I'll throw in my support for Scrivener. I mainly use it for my creative projects (novels, plays, etc.), but it would definitely be useful for managing an email sequence. I'll have to try that next time...

You've already answered the question - Scrivener.

I've been using it since V1. Incredibly useful writing app.

Takes a little work to make it work the way YOU work...
    ...then it works beautifully.

A bit belated, but after seeing the recommendations for Scrivener, I gave it a try. So far, I haven't seen anything even close to it for writing and organizing my thoughts. It also seems like a natural for writing and organizing email sequences.

I've wanted to write a book and do some instructional videos for quite a while now, but the task of organizing it is pretty daunting. Well, *was* pretty daunting .

And it only took about an hour or so to learn the basics of how to use it.

If I was to give it a brief description, I would call it an outline processor for writers.

Many thanks to those who recommended this software!
