Adwords are a blessing because you have to
get to the point fast with just enough
information, curiosity, and all the other
good stuff which goes in to get a person to click.

It seems people have lost the art of brevity to get an action, since they have gone online.

They think they aren't paying for the extra space on their website.

They are paying all-right, through lower response, lower revenue.

Every extra sentence cost you money if you were going in newspaper, magazines and Yellow Pages.
Every word had to earn it's place.

So to sharpen our minds, to have that same rigorous scrutiny
for each word placed, studying Adwords split test results,
without spending any of your own money, gets you heading in the right place.

are keeping alive the art of short messages that get a response.

        Another good way to study text ads (CPC, CPM) is to analyze the campaigns of smart advertisers. They test relentlessly.

        (There are several competitive intelligence tools that make this data available.)

        I've seen even the smallest change make a big difference in results.
