    Destiny,

WAAAAYYY too busy on that site.

You need to decide what you MOST want someone to do on your site... so start at the end and work backwards.

What is the ultimate problem you solve for people, what do you help them achieve?

Try to narrow it down to the most important thing. What's the biggest problem you help them solve, what's the biggest benefit you offer?

Once you find it, you need to stick it in a nice big headline at the top, to catch the site visitor's attention.

Then, you need to tell them, in plain terms, what you do and how you can help them get what they want. Make it easy to understand... and not plain, boring, cutesy, etc....

What are your site visitors motivated to do? Write to target that. Give them what they're looking for.

Lead them right down a path so that way they take the action you want them to take, because you're offering them exactly what they need.

Give them the solution they want, and why they need to stick around.

right now, it's just way too busy and all over the place.

What is the most wanted response you want someone to take on your site?

Figure it out and lead them to that.

Start at the top and lead them down the path you want them to take...like John Carlton used to say "a greased slide"

Bottom line, just target the biggest reasons why people would stay on the site... and then make you and your biz stand out as the one to go with.

right now, your site is just too busy and hard to read. Too many distractions means less focus and less likelihood they'll take the action you want them to take.

Start at the top with the big problem you can solve, then give them the solution and how you can solve it, and then back it up with proof and how you're unique.

I always use this as an example... but here's how a billion dollar company does design...

    Apple

Design is very important because if the visitors eyes don't know where to start first, they may just never get to the stuff you want them to see.

  • I also would have to say it does seem to busy. When i first land on your page, my eyes automatically went to your opt in. That necessarily isnt a bad thing, but I don't know anything about your site yet. With it though, that cursive type font can sometimes be difficult to read, your asking me to opt-in for things that I'm unsure of what they are. I know their is a list, but it hasn't given me time to figure out what your site is about yet to decide if that's information i want to receive.

In the middle of the page i automatically see the advertisement. This makes me think that where your directory links are that these are just going to take me to some advertisement page and not a page with real content.

My opinion would be remove all advertisements for now and just focus on building a brand and building a customer base. Once you have that, then you can add the advertisements in places where they are noticeable but dont look like the only reason you created the site.

To me it looks like one of those pages that comes up when the domain is for sale or is not being used. The adsense in the middle adds to that look as well.

      This.

Too cluttered and it doesn't answer the question of "what can I do here".

It just looks like a bunch of random links thrown on a page. Get some direction or at least let people know what your site is all about before you start throwing a bunch of links at them.

Agree with the others that there are to many messages going. You don't want to give the visitor too many choices.

Figure out the most important message and put that on the home page.

Also, the WordPress theme is not responsive. You should switch the theme to one that can be read on iPhone/Androids as well as tablets and PCs. SmartPhone traffic is getting big. Since January, traffic from smartphones is now averaging 20 - 30% of visitors compared to 5% from 2012.
