Should I use 2 characters in the script or just one. Please critique!

I want to differentiate our services with those that offer cheap websites. I have used 2 personas to explain. is that fine or should I stick with just John & have his story end differently (gets a good website & becomes happy

Meet John. John runs a catering business.

To give his business a new dimension, he decided to go online. And he started off by hiring the cheapest website designers & developer he find.
Turns out, his cheap website actually cost him a lot of money.
How?

His cheap website designers did not know what elements make a website look credible

They also didn't know what makes visitors turn into customers.
His website wasn't even optimized correctly so that search engines could find it.

By cutting on costs, John got a website that actually hurt his bottom-line, his reputation and his customers. John has shut down his website, and is going back to run his business the old fashioned way.

    Because your business deserves better.
    As a potential buyer, I'd care less about the two characters and more about whether the stories are true. If not, you've still got to show how the service is different and you've got to prove it. From my perspective, this story doesn't do that for two reasons:

    1) There's nothing that suggests it's a true story
    2) It talks about getting results, but EVERY online marketing company talks about that. If you want to differentiate, you need something that you can say this about...

    "No other online marketing company can make you this offer because (Unique Value Proposition "UVP" here)...."

    Then, you can tell a story about how the UVP might help the reader get the results they want. Right now, any competitor can say the same thing you're saying.
