Time on site for Buyers vs Non-buyers

For you analytic junkies:

Do you notice a difference between the amount of time a buyer is on your site vs a non-buyer?

Do any of you use a live chat service to increase conversions?

    Hey Adam,

    Back before I sold my bodybuilding business... I had used Intellichat on my pages... and indeed it did double my conversions. What I'd do is try for the $39.95 sale and if they bailed, offered it as a 7-day trial for $4.95.

    Again, that literally doubled my sales/conversions... because a heck of a lot more people signed on for the $4.95

    Today, it seems more and more people are using exit splash pages to do pretty much the same thing, so I'm not sure how the intelligent chat services are faring.

    For me, they were well worth it because you only paid PER saved sale... and it was something like $5 for each saved sale. so, the numbers definitely showed it was a worthwhile investment... but again, the current exit splash pages do the same.
