Unexpected Inspiration From a Classic...
From another post on this forum, I know what Karbo was promoting, as well as what the product was about (I thought it was a copywriting course), so I won't rehash.
Handwriting an ad is something I'd heard for a really long time, but had never done, even though I'd read some classic ads.
The process revealed interesting things, like "Oh, he's painting a future for his readers" or "He's addressing objections" or my favorite part of the ad "Joe, you may be full of beans, but what have I got to lose?"
Maybe that process is where the power is.
Would typing an ad would provide similar benefits to actual writing (the paper and ink costs alone--)?
Appreciate your input.
