Who Wrote The Current Pimsleur Approach VSL?

I'm talking about this one here:

It has to be doing very well because they are buying up a ton of ad space for it on major media sites and they are #1 for many of the top language learning PPC keywords in Google, Yahoo, etc, and have been for a while now...

It also apparently beat out the previous control which was written and voiced by Jon Benson, which is impressive in and of itself.

Anyways, if anyone knows who wrote it, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thanks.

    99% sure john benson did.

think he mentioned it at a conference a while back.

same guy who did mike geary's truth about abs etc.

Benson's version was actually beat out by the current control. This is the one he originally did:

It was replaced by the current version a few months ago.

Not sure who wrote it, but they use the Chris Haddad formula at the start from the part I watched. I actually tried this product a while back with limited success, Could have been a lack of effort on my part, but 10 mins is way over hyped and unrealistic. Really good VSL though.

At the start of the video, "Sara" says 30 minutes a day for 10 days.

Does anyone have the transcripts for any of these two (or both) VSLs and would be willing to share them with me?

I'm currently studying successful VSLs and would love to read these two.

Thanks so much for any help.

Shoot me your email and I'll send you over the winning version (the one that's been running for 2+ years now).

The poster above you is right btw, it uses Chris Haddad's copywriting formula the whole way through. You might want to look into Chris' copywriting course if you can find a copy.

If you go to the video on YouTube you can get the Google generated transcript. It has a bunch of mistakes but it's a useful starting point.

To get the transcript click on the "More" link under the video and select 'Transcript". Then just copy and paste into an editor.

You're... unsure if you wrote a promo that's been doing millions of dollars in sales for more the last few years?

Lol I'd love to see what you actually know you've written.

I agree with mellymags... that was a great sales letter. Also, thanks to Cool Hand Luke for linking to the original. It's always nice when you can compare the the winner vs the control it beat out. I'll be spending a few hours dissecting those two videos.

      Hi all.

Newbie here. I went to the Pimsleur site to check out their VSL and discovered that it's not there. Have they stopped using it???

Actually I worked with Jason Atakatiff (the owner of A4D, the company behind Pimsleur) in early 2014.

I wrote their swipe files for this product.

    This is quite interesting.
