Hi guys, can anyone provide examples of best emotional sales letters?

Seems like they were more popular in the past in USA...

Also, would you say that now days, people in USA are more emotionally shut down when it comes to excitement, or is it just my perception?

Seems like mainly negative emotion rule these days..

Best emotional letters is going to vary from niche to niche.

Each niche could have a different emotional hot button as well. For example, what plugs in an internet marketer (i.e. want to make more money) is completely different than the self-help niche (i.e. want to be more self-confident, make more friends, etc.).

I've always LOVED Eben and Craig's copy with their dating sites...

Official Double Your Dating | David DeAngelo's Double Your Dating

Christian Carter's Catch Him and Keep Him: Dating Advice for Women

I still consider these 2 sites to have some of the most emotionally-charged copy I've EVER seen... although it appears they've changed the site a bit and shortened some of the letters.

You'll never go wrong studying Craig and Eben.

Thanks Shawn, I'm familiar with David D and Eben.

For some reason I get repelled by these guys. I know their copies work, they probably got good products, but I don't know... lately I get very repelled by pitchman of all kinds and I understand this can be not so good when you try to write a copy.

As soon as I see things like "hurry only 3 copies left at this price" or "hurry I may remove this offer at any time", I get repelled.

    Anyone else has this problem?

  • I can't remember the site.

But it was shrieking "Buy this limited (digital product) within 5 days or else you'll lose the chance for blah, blah, blah."

I thought "Yea, yea, heard it all before, the old false scarcity routine."

I went back to the site about a week later and nearly spilt my coffee on the keyboards when I saw the fabled words...

    "Sorry, it's completely sold out"

    Unbelievable cool.

Yeah, I am actually developing a new sales copy format to avoid that blah blah blah common sales pitch syndrome where buyers can already predict pretty much every step of it.

The funny thing is, I am not proclaiming myself to be a copywriter but my sites convert very well without the blah blah blah. I just want to put all of that in the system and test it a bit more than 4 sites.

I know sales copies sell but it makes me mentally nauseous to pitch "scarcity", "special price", "limited time offers" and all these lies.

I personally value integrity, not artificially created circus.

Seems redundant to segment by "emotional..." in other words, there's no such thing as a best "non-emotional" sales letter, at least for the wares most of us typically sell.

So you're really just asking for a list of the best sales letters ever, which should be easy enough to find on this here forum.

There was a guy... I don't remember who he was but I think he was a chinese guy.

But he had a link in his sig offering a massive swipe file of sales letters he had collected from all the best copywriters. Like Gary Halbert, Jay Abraham, Frank Kern, Dan Kennedy, Eben Pagan, etc etc. It was the best swipe file I ever found online.

The problem is, over the years I have reorganized it and mixed it around with my own material (which would expose all my niches and sites). So I'd have to extract all the original salesletters and that alone would take an hour or 2.

I'll try to find the original link, and if not maybe I'll extract everything later and upload it in a zip folder.
