Ready to learn and not sure where to start

The title pretty much explains it. I have no professional experience writing for anyone or anything, but I love to write. I have never really looked at copywriting, or understood what it actually even was, for that matter. As I'm looking into it further, it's quite intriguing, and feels like it may be more in line with the type of writing I'd like to do.

Apologies if these posts are a dime a dozen. I just want to learn more about all of this and any help anyone can offer I would appreciate it! Also, I'm willing work for free or cheap in order to showcase my writing abilities... Thanks!
