Salesletter/Salespage Framework

Hello Fellow Warriors!

I'm about to make my first salespage.
Does anybody have a framework for it? Some kind of HTML file with dummy text in it, which I can modify in a WYSIWYG Editor?

I'm sure a lot of people have asked that, but I just couldn't find anything

Thanx in advance!

Seems I remember a post, some time back, where some one laid out a framework, have to see if I can find it, or maybe some one else will remember.

This is not the one I was thinking about, it's more about typography, thought I'd post it, some one might find it useful.

I searched, but couldn't find the one I was thinking of.

  • There's always wordpressppc.com - wordpress theme without all the other junk, designed for sales letters.

I've been recommending it all day it seems LOL - great little tool. I think the aff. link is on my blog now if you're interested, otherwise just let me see how your site turns out if you use it!

    Hey, thanks!

This is something really valuable. I actually have been studying the topic of "on screen" typographics. Very iportant! And your post was more then helpfull!

However, I still havent found the salesletter framework.

I mean the framework which tell syou where to put your benefits, bullet points, call to action stuff .. testimonials .. and so so so .. for better conversions.

I've search all over. Either is was removed or it's buried (most likely as this forum is just huge). I believe it was a post by a Warrior with the first name of Dean.

I figured some one would chime in by now, some who might have bookmarked it.

I would recommend finding websites in your niche that are successful and use their basic outline and layout. If you need an actual html template, you can find free templates at openwebdesign.org.

Look at what those in your niche are already saying, how they are laying things out, what is working the best right now, and use that outline yourself as well as the same color and psychological factors they are using as well.

I have to agree with alexa_s, here.
If you write your own copy, you will give it your own unique tone. Write like you would say it.
Do that, and you'd establish a stronger bond with your customers... which makes it easier to get their trust... and they'll be less guarded and more inclined to consider your offer.
Oh yeah- confide in them, too. Tell them of your embarrassing mistakes that turned out amazingly well (like my kitchen equip "blog" that's making MAD leaps in gooogle listings... and I'm not even finished making the confounded thing yet... I got the cart before the horse, and that may become a problem soon).

There are so many "spins" that you can put on a basic sales letter- video, audio, screenshots, etc. Overall, they follow the following basic structure:

Headline (Get their attention & Inspire Curiosity)
Story (usually the story of the "birth" of your product)
Content (Before & After, refutation, "dialogue" w/customer, etc.)
    Benefits
(what their life is like with your product)
    Offer
    (Deals? Special Offers?)
    Proof
    (Pictures, videos, audio, emails, etc.)
    Garantee
    Call to Action
    (add to cart works best)

I also recommend looking into Jeff Walker's techniques, as well as getting into the JV Forum. His Product Launch Formula isn't available right now, but he offers free videos on his blog that will certainly point you in the right direction... Launch that sucker in a HUGE way.

Vague, but I hope that helps a little.
