Faggots are a traditional dish in parts of the UK.

The West Country where that Mark Andrews came from being one of the regions.

The company best known for Faggots in the UK acknowledged the change of meaning that this word had in this Ad from 30 years ago.

I don't know, "Shrimp Flavored Crack" could become a bestseller. Its the same idea as fruit-flavored Black & Milds, right?

And aren't "Golden Gaytime Bars" popular in Australia? Feel like I read that somewhere.

Yeah, there's a long history of this. Chevy Nova flopping in Spanish speaking markets because "No Va" = "doesn't go," etc.

On the other hand... anyone tried deliberately renaming products for different markets?
