Can you write emails? Want to work in a tropical paradise....

Just noticed Mindvalley is looking for an email copywriter.

I did some freelance copy work for them a few years ago... but now it looks like they want their staff and writers in house.

If you want to move to and work in a tropical setting... may be worth looking into...

I would also like to know that. They're listed as Oregon, which doesn't sound so tropical!

HQ is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Here is a good speech by the founder, Vishen Lakhiani, on how they started and why he thinks "Happiness is the New Productivity." He talks about internet marketing, stress and how they exploded once they changed their mindset by making the company an awesome, fun experience.

Thanks Shawn--I'll pass this along to a couple of my students who aren't tied to where they live. They'd be a great fit for this.

I'd consider it, except for the fact I have been to Malaysia a couple of times. It's the most insanely humid place I have ever been. Seriously I wore light grey trousers one day, stepped outside and it looked like I'd wet myself in about five minutes.

Apart from that it's an incredible place, but I'm not sure I could live with it.

Unless the salary package is as amazing as the place. I often find it isn't at those organisations that claim to be so wacky and crazy that a guy actually works, and you won't believe this, in a bean bag chair. How insane right?

The small print is you get paid 5 bucks an hour, work 17 hours a day and no benefits. Now get back in your f***n bean bag!

How good is the legal system, health care, and civil protections in Malaysia?

Is it considered a modern or third-world country?

Alex, Malaysia is a mixed bag but is very friendly and welcoming to 'foreigners'. Long-term visas are relatively easy to get.

It's an interesting blend of Indian and Asian cultures.

Offers high-speed internet, great food, gorgeous ocean living and an interesting blend of expats as well. Great medical facilities, and a peaceful and serene place to live.

As Asia goes, Malaysia's a very interesting place, and close to other great countries such as Thailand and Vietnam.

People with a sense of adventure.

For some, it's a very strong emotion, and they will take action based on it.

You will be amazed at how many people.

If you look around you, there are many foreign born people who live and work near you, I'm sure.

Many people from other countries relocated here in the US willingly, away from family and friends, to get better job opportunities.
