Me and JV partner got in huge argument! Which is better????

SO me and JV partner got in a argument about which is better for a sales letter...particularly a WSO.

1. Having a sales letter that is a full graphic with cool bullet points and video a cool font...professionally done of course????

2. Having straight copy with no frills or fuss, all layed out in an awesome manner ....very well written by a great copywriter of course????

I would like a purely 2014 set of answers (answer 1 or 2). I am not saying which one I am for ....yet.
Maybe this will save our partnership!

Thanks warriors!!

Why don't you pay the extra $40 to WF and run both...then let us know.

Hey John..... can you do that? Run two different wso's on the same product and not be breaking rules? It would be a good test and could actually be case study/wso in the making.

It's extra ad revenue for the forum. Not sure why it would be against the rules.

Before new ownership, it was against the rules to have the same WSO/product on the first 3 pages at the same time. So you could run one and when that one scrolled onto page 4, you could run the other and so on ... so they couldn't both be run simultaneously. Don't know if that's the case any longer.

You could post one as a pre launch holder and let it drop to page 3 or 4 or whatever. Then do the same with the next. When they're both on the back pages, then push the banner traffic.

People run different WSOs on the same product...nothing groundbreaking. Not sure if it breaks the rules or not but I know it happens.

    As to your original question...

In scenario 1 is it the same copy as scenario 2?

Go through the WSOs and see how the successful sellers are doing it. That should be a good indication.

Basically. There are more words in scenario 2 but the message is the exact same and the selling points as well.

Well obviously people would not continue to bump the thread if it wasn't worth it. There are different levels to it though. Are they just building a list or going for out right sales of the product? IDK

Go for number 2 as your base.

Add in images where you feel they add to the copy.

But make sure they don't distract from the copy.

I wholeheartedly agree with Chris!!! Graphics are nice but a no bs sales thread
works better I think! Tell me what you got and what it's gonna do for me! Just my two cents!

Are you targeting cold WF traffic? Or will you be mailing to your own lists and having affiliates send traffic too?

If you're just testing the offer to cold WF traffic to get baseline stats, why not run both and buy some banner space at the top of WF. Pretty cheap way to find out what people around here prefer and settle the dispute once and for all so you guys can hug and make up & go forth cashing checks.

I think you need a blend of both. Good copy and well done graphics to compliment the copy.

If you are referring to the WSO in your signature I think that all the reverse
print is difficult to read so I'll go with the plain text. I find that those all-graphics
letters turn into overkill and so nothing is emphasized.

But again, only a split-test would prove which wins.
