Where can i get $500+ copywriting clients

Ive been doing great work for my clients but ive only been making max $200 for copywriting im looking for those $1000 clients for sales letter I can deliver but i can find any even though ive posted a special offer here, advice is welcome

    Do you have a post in warriors for hire? That's a good way to get leads, just don't specify a price in the thread. Do an individual quote for each person. If you want to charge more, then just start charging more as you get better at copywriting. Some people won't pay, but others know the value of good copywriting.

    For example, if I was going to hire a copywriter, I wouldn't hire one who only charged $200

      I'm not crazy about Warriors For Hire...

      ... Or at least, I'm not crazy about using it on its own.

      If you just create a WFH thread and bump it over and over again, you're going to attract clients that want to nickle and dime you.

      The WFH listing attract the same people the freelance sites attract; i.e. bargain bin buyers.

      If you want to get clients from Warrior Forum, what I'd recommend is this:

      1. Start a WHF thread... but DON'T bump it. Bumping WFH threads for business is a bad idea for the reason I outlined above.

      2. Include a link to your thread in your sig file. This means whenever you post on WF, people will see a link to your WFH thread.

      3. Participate in the copywriting forum and add real value. You won't get as MANY bites this way as you would by bumping your WFH threads, but the leads will be better. Good clients are usually curious people who are interested in learning more about how to grow their business. Bad clients are usually people who just want to throw money at a problem. Hence, you meet better people in the copywriting forum than in the WFH listings.

      This is one way to do it. Get out from behind the computer and talk to people in your town. Online sales is only a sliver of the money rushing down the mountain and through the economy in the real world. Go out and stick your hat in the stream and pull up some fish.

      Heck, just pick a niche, and go to the next conference in your town in that industry. You don't even have to buy a ticket if you are broke. Many times I've hung out in the food court at conferences and handed out cards--haha, good times. OK, I was younger then.

      All shenanigans aside, this thread links to an interview with Chris Haddad, a top copywriter who explains how he got to know people at conferences when he started out:

      To give you a teaser, and this applies to guys and girls alike, Chris says, "Balls equals money." In other words, you don't need permission from the world. Just start projects, and learn from the result.

    Step 1: Be worth more than $200. Practice. Study. Listen. Read.

    Step 2: Repeat step one, twice.

    Step 3: Get some success under your belt, so you know what kind of results you can promise.

    Step 4: Make a shift into value-based pricing, and screen for clients that are willing to invest. Realize that when you write a high-performing marketing piece for someone, it's like selling them a fully stocked ATM for 5% of the price. Some understand that. Some are purely price-shopping. Others just need it explained to them. But first and foremost, you need to believe it (and be able to back it up)

    Ive put together a product that teaches fundamental technical skills marketers need to be more professional. I call it the PMS (professional marketer system). I feel there is a hole and this product fills that hole to help marketers.

    Anyways.

    The trick is to find clients with the leverage to pay decent money for copy.

    These guys and girls will be using copy people already.

    Decide who you want to work with and go after them.

    Have some half decent samples to show them though.
    otherwise it will be a wasted effort.
