Again, put the copywriting forum back the way you found it. EXACTLY the way you found it.

Previously it was called: http://www.warriorforum.com/copywriting-forum/

Not: http://www.warriorforum.com/copywriting/ Which is what it is now.

If you don't, (last time I checked) you are flushing at least 54,000+ SERPS in Google down the toilet. Google has been delisting the links all day. It's now down to 11,000 SERPS.

That's a lot of deep linked, high quality traffic you're losing out on. Traffic that took over a decade to build. Better hurry up.

    Guys its being redirected. As long it is done right a redirect flushes nothing down the toilet. all the links along with the credit for the links with Google are maintained. Perfectly legit SEO techniqoue and no traffic loss

      Well, not exactly. There are six forums that have been changed. Yesterday, I checked the SEO forum, which was

      and is now

      When I searched for the original url in Google and clicked on it, I got

      Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator

      So when the OP was posted, there were no redirects. Now there are.

        and Seriously "alaister pay attention" is the way we should address the admin of this board regardless?

        You left out the last backslash on the URL (http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-ppc-seo-discussion-forum/). That's why you didn't see a redirect.

        They should still redirect the URL you posted as a backup in case that URL (no trailing backslash) is posted anywhere on the forum or any external links pointing at the forum.

        The page redirects have been steadily getting reindexed in Google SERPs. That will take a couple of months for the majority of pages to get reindexed by Google, there's thousands of pages.

            That's not a big deal for a huge authority site like Warrior Forum, this site has thousands of pages that get recached/reindexed hourly/daily.

            WF isn't offline so Google is still crawling the site hourly, you can check the home page cache date/time stamp for proof (cache:www.warriorforum.com).

            Sure there's going to be a few hiccups (ex: trailing slash on a few URLs) but it's not permanent SERP damage.

              I'm sure a lot of people, like me, didn't know there was a suggestion forum. It's new, right?

              Now I'm glad there is, and I'm sure most such complaints/questions/suggestions will end up there.

    Guys, you're reading my post out of context. At the time I wrote, there was alarm, not disrespect. I had forgotten about redirects being able to provide a workaround. I hope that clarifies.
