Opinion on a copy contest site?

I know there is one now but my partner owns the domain stockmarketcontest.com

And we are thinking of creating this. A site where someone submit their idea of stock tips.

How many people think this will do good. The other site that is doing this now is doing great!

Anyone interested in partnering?

    Copywriting tends to be a bit more complex than design.

    I've thought of this before. It is not really something new. Every person receives a small payment for submitting a concept and in the end, a winner is chosen.

    However, how do you define a copy concept?

    If research is 50% of the project, before you can write something relevant, you need to invest 50% of the project for free.

    A design on the other hand can be presented as a concept far faster.

    Let's say that I want a new control in the niche of "how to pick stocks".

    How should I choose the winner? Based on a headline? On a few paragraphs of copy?

    If this was a $50.000 project, I would understand most people going the extra mile but most copywriting projects are between $500 and $1000.

    I hope you get the point. Best of luck if you want to pursuit it though.
