Video "teaser" in newsletter

So, I would like some thoughts on this video. I will share more information about it if there is any interest. I would just like to see whether I've actually learned anything...

Brief fact sheet:

B2B in gambling niche.
emailed to affiliate managers prior to industry conference.

    Looks interesting. I assume it's primarily to build interest around a later call to action? It's definitely a teaser at 20 seconds, but if that's what you're going for, good work!

    hmmm. Interesting response RS3RS, although not the one I was expecting.

    Put simply, this is neither what I wrote for nor is it my complete copy...

    Originally, the video would have been made as in this template: make a Unique PROMO with Google Style and Quality - fiverr

    And there would have been 3 pages of copy at the end:

    1. We rank in Google’s top 10 across 100s of gambling keywords around the world

    2. Bringing targeted players to the pages they want to see

    3. Get your site in front of their eyes today with a premium listing

    and the email.

    The newsletter would have done the rest.


    My question is basically: which is better? How does this work for you in terms of the "copy", however brief?

    You need more than just titles, otherwise what's the point of a video? You need some kind of spectacle. Also, you're "telling" instead of "showing". For example, don't tell me you rank in Google's top ten - show me.

    Aye Keith. Hard to come up with something in 6 hours though...including the newsletter itself!
