Could this website make money in the future?

Firstly, here is the website: link removed

I'm not a complete newbie, but this is the biggest website I've attempted to create so far. Basically I'm asking you warriors, with your vast collective experience, if this looks like a site that could generate a steady income in the future?

I created it about 6 weeks ago and have slowly been adding content, I don't expect any money to be made any time soon and traffic is low. I am focussing on creating content that will help my target audience and have a lot of 'top 10' posts coming up.

I am aware that the best way to generate income is from building a list, nurturing it and then offering products/affiliate links.

I also know the best way to build a list is to offer a free product or service, at the moment I'm offering to send news of discounts to people who register, is this good enough (part of me thinks no)?

This forum has taught me a lot in the past 10 months and helped me turn my other website from earning $0 to a modest $200$300 a month, hopefully some of your excellent advice can help me again!

I think you'd do well to create a descriptive headline letting visitors know what the site is about. People won't hang around very long trying to figure it out.

Yeah, with hard work you will be able to make money. Competition is high out there so always stay a step ahead.

I don't think that the best way to make money from this website is building a list in all honesty. I would look at tour operators in London with affiliate programs, possibly a hotel booking engine in there recommending the best hotels to stay at, along them lines would be my train of thought.
