It looks fine to me, but I would add a video of yourself talking about your services.

You should also show some proof and examples of work you have done in the past.

Thanks, i'll work on adding those in. I have a limited portfolio of previous work at the moment because I was acting under another company before so cannot use the work as solely my own.

You've depersonalized your company to the extent that it's indistinguishable from any made-up boilerplate company a designer talks about while creating demo pages for a new WP theme.

Who are you? Who is your ideal client? What do they dream about that only YOU can provide and in what unique ways can you provide it to them they can't get anywhere else?

That's exactly the kind of information I am hoping to address in the video that I will be putting on the website

Heaven forbid the video doesn't load or potential clients opt NOT to view it.

    It looks good to me.
Maybe to add... Explain why they should purchase the service from you?
And also to add in testimonials..

I haven't hired a copywriter for the information on the website but considering that it isn't one of those internet marketing sales letters I don't think it will be necessary.
    Yeahh, good copywriting....ain't necessary here....

Of course it is! I mean, you did post on the copywriting forum, right? Or was that a mistake? ha

Copywriting does not always equal big red headline with long copy promoting an info product. It's important everyyywhere, in every scenario, with whatever you're selling, period.

It's easier than ever to "look professional" today. If you buy a nice template & don't completely botch it up, you're in good shape. Your fate is determined by how you stand out amongst everyone else doing the same thing & that differentiation primarily takes place in your language.

Your design is good enough. Focus on the questions BrianMcleod mentions & don't just include it in your video - put it in your headline, body copy etc.

Why is this even here? This what we want? Turn this nook into "How does my website look?"

But to answer his question... it looks naff. With dead boring writing. He's doing Fiverr gigs.

Don't forget that warriorforum ranks high in search engines. So when potential clients inevitably google your company name to see if you're legit, they might find you the expert getting your ideas battered here. They might then hesitate to pay thousands monthly to a company that barely knows what it's doing.

Newbies might want to use a "tiny URL" that relays to their site, which they can de-link once the critique is done. Doesn't prevent people from mentioning your company by name in the thread, but it can help with online reputation management...

Look...you say you're an expert in social media. And yet... you write like you're a corporation. With lines like "propel your business to the next level".

Have a look at this. They are masters of the art. The writing and the design POPS. Food Delivery | Restaurants Delivery | Eat24 Order Online

Now look at their blog - Bacon Sriracha Unicorn Diaries

      See what I mean?

They abandoned facebook - Eat24: Life Without Facebook | Eat24 Blog

Reason I get narky is I don't want to see this section swamped with "How does my website look?" by people that think content-writing is copywriting.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe its time I move on.

Good luck to you and your Fiverr gigs. And may the force be with you my son.

My post was actually moved here by a moderator, I wasn't posting specifically for a critique on copywriting.

I may not know much about website design, copywriting or content writing but I have a very good understanding of social media so like in any business, I will learn and improve as I progress.

Right now I can't afford to hire a copywriter to make my website exciting to read, but if it becomes profitable, it is of course something I will look into.

        Thanks

Yeah, this is the problem. Some of the Mods seem to think...well - you know. There was a big outcry few weeks back when they changed the title of this section. But apparently they still don't get it. Sigh.

You say you have a very good understanding of social media. But is that the way you talk on facebook and the others?

By that I mean I have a lot of experience managing accounts from small-medium sized companies and i'm able to used adverts effectively to grow audiences. I'm also able to run events and find interesting yet relevant content that people like.

There's also a lot of tools that work well when used in combination with each other.
