Industry Roll Call: Who're You Writing For?

Wanted to do a quick roll call to see what industries/niches people were writing for, and who was going the "generalist" approach. I'll start:

SO, I was doing generalist, but now I'm switching to Tech. Anyone else?

    I think very few are generalists, and people who self-identify as generalists are really semi-specialists. Over time they settle into three or four specializations, if not by choice then by evolution.

    My clients are mainly myself, tech, entrepreneurs and offline.

      Personality marketing... interesting niche. Is that just branding a company as having a certain personality?

        Yes, it is branding. This is a recent endeavor - I switched gears in my biz direction once I realized people like working with ME, not just a random copywriter.

        And the funny thing about working with ME is that pretty much all my life I've been told everything about me is wrong. Too tomboyish, too much swearing, too much threatening to set stuff on fire, etc.

        But somehow, despite being all wrong, I found my tribe (to borrow a Seth Godin-ism). And my tribe loves me. Hell, I ******* love those guys too.

        So now I'm ramping up and planning on helping others find themselves AND their tribes.

        EDITED TO ADD:
        It's a hell of a lot more fun than trying (and failing) to convince people that I'm a suit and speak corporate nonsense.

          she's embracing all that is "bad" and doing very nicely out of it.

    I work with marketers who want to sell a lot of something usually via cold traffic.

    I work with entrepreneurs who are in it long term and want to build a business.

    I work with marketers who want to sell really expensive like things, such as luxury items.

    I work with businesses that need a lot of leads.

    I work with people who want to ratchet up conversions of their websites, sales pages, landing pages and sales funnels.

    These are my forte.

    PS: Cam, I just wanted to added the title of your post has the word "whore" in it without the apostrophe. Is your unconscious trying to tell you something?
