Please critique my website

I am not sure whether I should be asking in this CW forum or website design forum, but I would be very grateful for any feedback on both design and copy.

    Too many options.

    You have no eye trail.

I have no idea where to go first, what to read first or what to take action on.

You need to scale things down by coming up with:
    1. One problem to solve
    2. One solution
    3. One clearly stated benefit
    4. One offer with a clear call to action

Then, lead their eyes down the page. Right now, you've got three columns cannibalizing one another for the reader's attention.

I agree with Seth it's just too busy. When I land on your website I want to be led by the hand and shown what to read. Also it looks dated. Like those old html sites. Why not go to the design section or complete sites for sale section and get it re-done? Or buy a premium theme (wordpress) and give it a new look. But it definitely needs some direction.

Strike 1: Optin form below the fold.

Strike 2: Red Comic Sans subheads on blue blackground.

Strike 3: Cheesy, cartoonish clip art on a Forex offer

Haven't even read a word of the copy yet and it's lights out...

        Truth sometimes does...

Good news is - it's fixable.

        EDITED TO ADD:

Some of your critiques and reviews for me have been far more brutal - and helpful.

          That was actually a compliment.

And you're right. On all counts. But that particular one made me wince.

I swear, most marketers who pay me to critique initially expect me to blow sunshine up their butt.

Of course, they think they're paying me so they can hear compliments.

That rarely happens. I'm not saying never, but rarely.

But after they lick their wounds and fix what's wrong/obvious, they always come back for seconds.

They realize it's like working out.

If you don't rip, tear or stretch a few muscle fibers in the process, you're probably not going to get the benefit.

By golly, Rick... I think you've created a new category!

            Hopefully blowsunshineupyourbutt.com isn't taken.

Right. Do you want good feedback or not?

I remember watching a Michel Fortin video critique a few years ago--he sets the stage with something like, "My concern is do you want me to sugarcoat or be brutally honest? Some people put a lot of work in to their baby, and if I am a bit too harsh it hurts their ego. So I just want to know if you want the brutal honest truth about how you can make more money, or if you want me to sugarcoat it and we don't get the results you want?"

Thank you all for your invaluable feed back of which I have taken note and will in effect start anew as a result.

It is interesting to note, that the average bounce rate in g analytics is 49% ..but the average traffic coming from the warrior forum, has a bounce rate of 81% ..the traffic in question is before I asked for the critique. .. given your feedback, I can begin to see why. Thanks again.

Copy Nazi ... your feedback is appreciated, but your final comment is not- even if it was well intended.... thanks though for the constructive criticism beforehand.

Graham...this thing was a car-wreck. If you really insist on going ahead with it...have another go and PM me what you have and I'll try to help you. But really...I think your talents lie in other fields.

Thanks for your honest opinion.... I am not one to give up easily and it therefore means I will "have another go" as you put it. It may take me a bit of time to get my head round it all, but I will PM you once I have. Thank you for your offer..

I have looked at some of your copy and I can see from other threads in the WF you are well respected in your field and so I will take some pointers from that and hopefully come up with something which will make you change your mind about my varied talents, but more importantly, have my website visitors opting in.

Thank you once again for your valued input, it really is very much appreciated.

I have nothing to do with this product at all, but this is an example of the quality of competition you're up against in the Forex market
