Learning About Your Demographic

Hi,

I'm gathering information about the information technology niche. Specifically, stories coming from IT people who have had negative experiences at their jobs. I'd love to be able to send out a survey to people in this demographic and receive some valuable feedback.

What sort of methods may work here? Paid methods are fine. I'm looking for a good place to start. Thank you for any help you can offer.

I'm an ex IT person so you could ask me.. but I think overall this is kind of easy.. the professional environments are LinkedIn groups and quora.com

Just ask some intelligent questions and people will rush to answer.. especially quora.com

Plus there are tons of programming, programming language, and system related forums to learn more about IT people.

If you can't find people in general ones.. go popular product related ones..

Also Amazon web services related forums (or the like) could be a good resource

      David,

Thank you for the ideas of directly asking via online communities. For some reason, it didn't occur to me that people would want to willingly share this information for free. I'll give it a shot. Cheers!
