Working for an agency AND freelancing - Ethics? Approach?

    As long as you haven't signed a non-compete contract then it's fine to freelance. I'd say that giving the cold calling a rest would be a good idea. It would be better to simplify your tactics and concentrate on whatever has worked so far. Good luck!

    I suggest making this opportunity "priority #1 and only".

    Go the extra mile... get in early and leave late. Devote ALL your productive time to job-related activity... whether you're at the office or at home.

    Sounds like you truly want to succeed at this job, so don't split your focus. Go full bore at one thing only.

      As long as you are not working with clients competing with their client roster, do it.

      I did simply because agency was run by bone heads as a result of a merger and they couldn't move as fast as I could.

      Then they started providing more opportunity, but I had built a book and used it to land a better position at another firm for more money and benefits.
