    I remember reading he was a 10+ year improv actor.

    Doesn't surprise me. He knew his own shtick, how to act and how to do funny without being clownish, and the video embraces it. That perfectly timed expression before delivers their tagline, random props... Details, details, details.

    The genius is how it mocks commercials while being an effective commercial.

    He also collaborated with an agency. I wonder if they insisted on him starring in it, or if it was his plan all along...

    The pattern interrupt at :10 gets me everytime. It's indignant, almost aggressive, It's as if he's saying "Oh, so you thought you were gonna tune me out like the other commercials? Gloves off now buddy. You're GONNA buy this. You're crazy not to"

    Unfortunately lightning doesn't strike twice. His other commercials left me cold, even though the gimmicks were similar.

    On a side note, your razors should last forever. There is no way that
    shaving hair can cause a steel razor to lose its edge. What does the
    damage is oxidation from the air. One razor lasts me more than a
    year because I keep it under olive oil. I get a perfect shave every
    time--until the holder for the razor breaks down, then I use a new
    one. If every customer did this the razor business would collapse.

      Yeah, my man is a safety razor fanatic. He's constantly trying to get me to try it because it's so much better and much less expensive than disposable.
