How to build a donation website?

Anyone know any way that I can make a website that has a focus on being able to donate to charities?

For example if it were for charities for animal shelters and there were 5-10 different companies that were given the option to donate to on the website.

Basically trying to get a website that has a nice looking design with options so people can donate to their charity of choice from a website with credit cards and paypal.

Are there any web hosting platforms that could make it is easy to design and run a site like this?

    Hi there,

    You can go for any standard hosting to host the site. Depending on the hits you are expecting on your website, you can choose to go for VPS hosting later on. If you think there will not be a huge volume of traffic at the very beginning, you can even choose shared hosting from any standard provider. Best to go for Hostgator (yes, still my favorite) or Bluehost or anything that you think suits you better.

    Regarding the site, add donate button. Alternatively, if you would like to include a more comprehensive solution, you can choose to go for an e-commerce or membership solutions to add more flexibility to your website.

    And oh yes, go for WordPress for maximum control and better flexibility.
